Overview

The Snooze Expeditor controls the flow of food coming out of the kitchen, while ensuring that it has been prepared with the highest quality, care and craftsmanship.  Duties include efficiently controlling the flow and communicating that flow to the line and management staff.  You are the conductor of the symphony, both leading and making sure the final product is in line with the standards set in the Snooze Doctrine.  Put simply, you are the last line of defense before the food is put in front of the guest. 

Responsibilities

  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served!
  • Garnishes each and every plate that leaves the HOH according to our Snooze Doctrine and Perfect Plate standards.
  • Responsible for knowing Snooze HOH Standards (portion sizes, cooking methods, recipes, quality standards and HOH policies and procedures).
  • Prepares, stocks, and maintains sufficient levels of food products in stations to assure a smooth service period.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area for both the HOH and FOH.
  • Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
  • Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the opening and closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.
  • Attends all scheduled Snoozer meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the management staff.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with management staff and teammates
  • Must perform well under pressure and high volume service
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
